Students Associations

In Polytech Clermont-Ferrand, more than one student-engineer out of 4 is involved within an association or student club.

The student’s life is organised according to the following associations :

  • BDE (Students Union)
  • BDA (Arts Union)
  • BDS (Sports Union)
  • And IDP Engineering (professional association ruled by students and realising engineering projects)

  • « Polytech Roule pour le Téléthon » (Polytech takes action for the Telethon)

  • AfterWorks, board games, card games, poker, films, video games every first Wednesday of the month
  • Week of art and culture (concerts, theatre, cooking, photos, exhibitions …)
  • School’s gala
  • Tastings with the oenology Pole and the cuisine Pole
  • Participation to the University Championship : male basketball, female handball, male handball, male rugby, male football/soccer (teams 1 & 2), mixed voleyball …

Events of the Polytech Network

The students-engineers of Polytech Clermont-Ferrand are part of the « big Polytech family ». They are assembled wwithin the Polytech network’ students federation.

All along the year, they find themselves together for some events proper to the network, favouring cohesion between students of the Polytech community and creating a « Network » spirit.

  • PolyNightWork, a creativity challenge
  • TIP (inter-Polytech tournament), rugby, football, basketball, voleyball, cheerleading contest …
  • Tigresses’ Tournament, a female sport’s tournament
  • TPN (Polytech snow tournament)
  • Beach volley tournament …

Please also note that each year, some students are elected as BREI members, which is a regional department of BNEI (national union of the engineering students).

Other associations, more professional, are open to all the students-engineers and graduated from the school :
