Two laboratories, the Applied Biochemistry Laboratory, and the Chemical and Biological
Engineering laboratory occupy the same buildings as the CUST, which means there is a lot
of collaboration with teaching, by means of student projects and long-term practical works.
The department of BE receives support from specialists of INRA and of the two Universities of Clermont-Ferrand
for some teaching (genetics, immunology).
