Our future engineers need to be trained to occupy high
responsibility positions in a global context.
Job experience abroad is therefore an excellent opportunity to
develop this quality.
International relations at Polytech'Clermont-Ferrand
International Relations at Polytech'Clermont-Ferrand within the framework of Blaise Pascal University
are part of a network rich in research and training
collaboration to promote students and teachers mobility. T
hese actions involve numerous schools and universities based
on the following geographical areas:
- American, Canadian, South-American and Mexican
universities, offering many opportunities of studies,
PhD trainings and internships.
- Europe : universities within the EU,
but also from Central and Eastern Europe
-
The Pacific: exchanges with Australian and Chinese
institutions along with research collaborations with Japan.
-
Africa: supervisory work and cooperation,
especially strong in Sub-Saharan Africa.
These partnerships are reinforced by other crucially important actions, namely:
-
The application of the European Credits transfer System (ECTS)
which guarantees the acknowledgement of studies abroad.
-
The SOCRATES and LEONARDO
agreements to encourage staff and student mobility
-
Co-supervising supervised PhD studies
-
Grants from local authorities

New at Polytech'Clermont-Ferrand this year :
two double diploma agreements have been
signed with the universities of
Oklahoma (US)
and
Cranfield (GB).
In both cases the partnership allows us to select the students
on the basis of their personal project and in both
cases the level in English has to be excellent.
